Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of inputize.pro and of the Inputize software (the gamepad emulator and the RC filter). By creating an account, buying a licence or using the software you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

1. Who these Terms are with

The short version: a small independent project.

Inputize (“we”, “us”) operates inputize.pro and publishes the Inputize software. We keep the operating entity and its location private, as is common for small independent software projects; you can always reach us at the address below.

Contact for everything on this page: inputize@gmail.com.

2. Eligibility

Who may use Inputize.

You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use the service. If you use it on behalf of someone else, you confirm you are allowed to accept these Terms for them.

3. Your account

Your side of the deal.

An account is free. You are responsible for what happens under it: keep your password secret, use a real recovery address you control, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has access. Licences are tied to your account and, for the emulator, to up to three PCs — see the FAQ for the current limit.

4. Licence to use the software

What you get, and what you do not.

When you buy a licence, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to install and use the software on the permitted number of computers, for as long as the licence is valid. Certain products (for example AI Assist) are time-limited; the end date is shown in your account and in the purchase e-mail.

The software is licensed, not sold. We keep all rights that we do not expressly grant.

5. What you may not do

The obvious limits, spelled out.

You may not: reverse-engineer, decompile or modify the software except to the extent the law allows; redistribute, resell, rent or sublicense it; share, publish or guess licence keys; bypass or disable licensing, activation limits or the integrity checks; use the service to break any law; or attack, overload or probe our infrastructure.

6. Orders, pricing, delivery and refunds

How buying works, and why sales are final.

Prices are shown at checkout and charged by our payment provider; local currency and taxes may vary. Your licence key and download link are delivered by e-mail right after the payment is confirmed, and are also always available in your account. Because the product is digital and is delivered instantly, all sales are final and licences are non-refundable, including an unused key — the full reasoning is in the refund policy in the FAQ. This does not affect any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the law of your country.

7. Third-party software, games and platforms

We are not them, and they are not us.

The software runs on Windows and creates a virtual controller through ViGEmBus, a third-party driver. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any game publisher, anti-cheat vendor, console maker or driver author. Names of games and products on this site are used only to identify them and belong to their owners. Those third parties have their own rules and licence terms, and you are responsible for following them.

8. Acceptable use and your own responsibility

Bans and game rules are yours to weigh.

You decide where and how you use the software. You are responsible for complying with the rules of the games you play, of the platforms you play on and of any tournament you enter. We do not claim that any game or platform permits this category of tool, and we never promise immunity from enforcement — no tool in this category can. What the software does, and why it is built the way it is, is described honestly on the safety page. You accept the risk that a publisher may change its policy.

9. Availability and changes

What we can change, and what we cannot promise.

We may add, change, suspend or withdraw features, and may release updates. We aim to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, and third-party services (hosting, payments, e-mail, drivers) may fail or change independently of us.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The software is provided as is.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service and the software are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the software will work in every game, on every PC or with every other program. Nothing here excludes warranties that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Limitation of liability

Where the financial ceiling sits.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost data, account suspensions, bans or other enforcement action by a third party, arising out of or relating to the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the product giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Indemnity

Keeping claims fair between us.

You agree to indemnify us against claims and costs arising from your misuse of the service or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

13. Suspension and termination

How the relationship can end.

We may suspend or revoke a licence or account that breaks these Terms — for example a key that was shared, resold or used in an attack. You may stop using the service at any time. Clauses that by their nature should survive termination (for example liability, indemnity and governing law) do survive.

14. Changes to these Terms

How updates to this page work.

We may update these Terms; the current version always lives on this page. If a change is material we will note it on the site. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

Which law applies, and write to us first.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the operator of Inputize is established. This does not remove any mandatory right you have as a consumer under the law of your own country of residence. Before starting any formal dispute, please write to us — most problems are solved faster by an e-mail.
