Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data we process when you use inputize.pro or the Inputize software, why we process it, who we share it with and what rights you have. It is written to be readable, not to hide behind wording.
1. Who is responsible
Who controls the data, and how to reach them.
Inputize (“we”, “us”) operates inputize.pro and publishes the Inputize software. We keep the operating entity and its location private, as is common for small independent software projects; you can always reach us at the address below.
Contact for everything on this page: inputize@gmail.com.
2. What we collect
Every category, in plain words.
Account data. Your e-mail address and a hashed password, and the display name you choose. Passwords are stored only as a hash by our authentication provider; we never see them.
Licence and purchase data. Which keys you own, their status, the products and dates, activation attempts and, for the emulator, which computers a key has been activated on so the activation limit works. If the app detects a modified copy or a debugger attached to it, the tamper report may additionally contain the self-reported computer name and the sender IP address; these identifiers are kept for 30 days for abuse investigation and never drive automatic decisions.
Partner data, only if you apply. Payout details you enter for the partner programme.
Optional Discord link. If you connect Discord, we store your Discord username and numeric ID so the following can be granted by Discord. This is optional.
Technical data. Ordinary server logs — IP address, time, request — kept for security and rate limiting. We do not run advertising or third-party analytics trackers on the site.
3. Why we use it (lawful bases)
Why we are allowed to process it.
We process your data to perform our contract with you (delivering a key, e-mailing it, keeping your account working); for our legitimate interest in running and securing the service (preventing key abuse, fraud, attacks and rate-limit circumvention); to comply with legal obligations; and, for anything optional such as the Discord link, on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
4. Cookies and local storage
What your browser stores.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. When you sign in, your browser's local storage holds your session token so you stay signed in; signing out or clearing site data removes it. A payment provider may set its own cookies on its own checkout pages, under its own policy.
5. Who we share it with
The processors, and what we never do.
We use service providers (processors) who act on our instructions: a hosting/database and authentication provider, an e-mail delivery provider, a payment provider, and — only if you choose to link it — Discord. We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data if the law requires it or to protect the service from abuse.
6. International transfers
Where the data may live.
Our providers may store data in countries other than yours. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses offered by those providers.
7. How long we keep it
Retention in one paragraph.
Account and licence data are kept while your account exists and for as long afterwards as needed for legal, tax and anti-abuse purposes. Server logs are kept for a short period. Data you gave only for an optional feature is removed when that feature is disconnected or on request.
8. Your rights
What you can ask us to do.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to complain to your local data-protection authority. Write to us and we will act on your request; we may need to verify that the account is yours first.
9. Security
How we protect it.
We use access controls, hashed passwords and encrypted transport, and we keep the surface small on purpose. No system is perfect; please use a unique password.
10. Children
Who the service is for.
The service is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
11. Changes
How updates to this page work.
We may update this policy; the current version always lives on this page.
