Load the template first
The Warzone game template is the fastest legal start: it pre-configures the response curve, Aiming SAB 2's advanced values, auto ping on D-Pad Up and YY spam on Mouse 4, and the always-held button on LS. Load it from the profiles list, rename it, and make it yours — everything below refines it rather than replaces it. Profile switching happens on F9/F10 while emulation is off, and per-game auto-detect can swap layouts automatically when the game's process appears.
The five-minute baseline
- In-game controller sensitivity: maximum, always.
- Windows pointer speed to the middle position, Enhance pointer precision off.
- Curve: Aggressive if you track fast, S-Curve if you overshoot — decide while watching the response preview graph, not in a live match.
- Smoothing: Balanced; switch to Competitive if flicks feel late.
- Deadzones: shipped 0/0 with mouse deadzone 0 px/s — raise only if the crosshair genuinely trembles at rest.
Movement: always-held and Movement SAB
Keep the always-held button ON (LS in the default layout) so the virtual gamepad never goes idle mid-fight — a gamepad that wakes up on your first input is exactly the wrong shape for a game that punishes slow draw-and-sprint. On top of that, raise Movement SAB to 40–60: WASD presses ramp to full deflection along an eased human S-curve instead of snapping, and Variance/Micro add the per-gesture texture that stops every stride looking byte-identical.
Aim: assist, orbital and recoil
The aim assist you feel is the game's own — your curve's job is keeping the stick inside the assist bubble instead of overshooting it. While ADS-ing with the mouse still, Orbital traces the slow micro-circle that keeps the game's assist active. For recoil, start from the shipped values (Y 15, ramp 120 ms, release 120 ms) and run the firing-range drill from the anti-recoil tuning guide — one weapon class per profile.
Auto ping and YY spam
Both ship in the template, both rebind to any key or pad button in the Controller view. Auto ping taps the ping button once per trigger pull — never repeating while fire is held, so the ping wheel never blocks your aim. YY spam taps Y twice in a human double-press rhythm while your bound key is held, cancelling reload and armor-plate animations Warzone-style. These are pad-button macros: the game sees normal controller presses.
What not to touch
Circularity stays at 100 unless diagonals genuinely feel angular. Turn Speed Cap stays at 0 until you visibly over-rotate after full-deflection flicks. And don't stack an aggressive curve with heavy smoothing — the curve launches and the filter drags, and you'll blame the sensitivity for a fight between two other settings.
